grundig-vuxGrundig VUX has been nominated for “2017 CES Innovation Awards Honoree”. VUX (Virtual User Experience) is a technology which transforms an ordinary counter-top in an interactive work surface. VUX, with a simple touch, allows to manage the home appliances from a single control panel, thanks to an intuitive system. The control panel is sophisticated and is displayed on the counter-top thanks to a projector placed in the hood. The sensors record the movements of the hands and read them as inputs, allowing to adapt the space to every need. The technology allows to choose where to place the virtual control panel integrating it perfectly on the work surface and allowing a quick and easy cleaning. “We focused on the experience and ease of interaction within the home, between the user and the appliances – said Serdal Korkut Avci, Director of Design at Arcelik -. A unique design and a highly smart home automation makes VUX one of the most innovative and intuitive technologies on the market”. The VUX technology transforms the counter-top in a visual panel, allowing to do several actions such as seeing a projected recipe or connecting via Wi-Fi a “baby-watch” camera to control the sleeping baby while the consumer is cooking.
