The Silence NRS (Noise Reduction System) technology, developed by Falmec, celebrates its tenth anniversary: this system has made it possible to design extremely silent hoods. In fact, the noise level of solutions equipped with this technology is almost imperceptible (up to -86% less sound) thanks to Falmec’s in-depth research on air flow optimisation and the use of sound-absorbing materials conducted in collaboration with the University of Padua and laboratories specialising in fluid dynamics. To celebrate this important milestone decade, Falmec has decided to expand the Silence NRS range by extending this patented technology to new models. The Falmec products now also available in the Silence NRS version are: Lumen Isola 175, Lumen, Plane Black and Virgola, all of which combine attractive design with efficiency and silence.
