The world of professional cleaning is experiencing a constant evolution, with increasingly innovative products and openness to new technologies. This is also demonstrated by the two events that will be proposed during the ISSA PULIRE fair: the Hackathon and the “Product of the Year” Award. The Hackathon, organized in collaboration with FDS, will focus on the theme “Smart Facility: Cleaning Connected to the Future”. The cleaning sector is undergoing transformation and digitization not only helps service providers improve the health and safety of buildings, but also makes them the point of reference for implementing and achieving the buildings’ owner ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) objectives. In essence, the teams will compete to demonstrate how cleaners, trained and equipped with digital tools, can contribute in achieving ESG objectives and bringing objectively measurable results. University students from the IT, economics, engineering, management, environmental and design fields can apply for the competition, who will participate in teams of 3/6 people for a maximum of 10 working groups. The Hackathon will also be an opportunity for visibility for companies that want to become a sponsor.
The “Product of the Year ISSA PULIRE 2023” instead recognizes the research activity conducted by companies operating in the sector of professional cleaning, hygiene and environmental sanitation, safety, facility management, disinfestation, laundry, services, lifting, car wash and logistics. The participation in the award is reserved to exhibitors and co-exhibitors: they are companies which produce machines, accessories, mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, chemicals, paper, fibers, cloths, systems and services for professional cleaning. ISSA PULIRE 2023, international trade fair dedicated to the professional cleaning and sanitation sector, is scheduled from 9 to 11 May in Milan. The 26th edition of the trade fair will present a new area called “Disinfestando Pavilion” dedicated to the Pest Management sector. The new pavilion is the result of the agreement between the organizer of the trade show and the Italian company Sinergitech, organizer of events and courses for the pest management and pest control sectors.
