Dema and FOS (an innovative company specialized in the Information Technology sector) worked on an ambitious project that was shown at the latest edition of Mecspe fair in Bologna. FOS presented, for the first time, the application of virtual reality and augmented reality to Dema’s production lines. “These systems – Dema explains – will bring numerous benefits, both during the development phase, such as design review, by drastically preventing slowdowns to reduce the lead time of the projects, and in the mass-production phase, by making the remote support more effective. The application is designed to be simple, intuitive and, to fully leverage the potential of these innovations, to be used with AR or VR headsets”.
