Bertazzoni has taken a further step in research, not only in terms of form, but also of material, color and surface texture. The company presented, in collaboration with MM Design by designer Alex Terzariol, the new aesthetic concepts for its finishes applied on the ovens of the Modern Series: “Metallo Puro” (pure metal), “Specchio” (mirror) and “Forma” (shape).

As regards to “Metallo Puro”, the Pure Metal Tech technology intervenes by modifying the crystallographic structure of the metal, does not distort the material, which therefore remains completely pure and recyclable, and improves its resistance. At the latest edition of Eurocucina, Bertazzoni presented this concept in gold, copper and black declination. Speaking instead about “Specchio”, this coating is the deposition of metal oxidation and other components in microns. The thin metallic film is generated through the vaporizing of the solid material in a vacuum chamber. The Specchio finish has been proposed in gold, but can be declined in chrome, platinum and obsidian variants.

Finally, as regards to the “Forma” concept, the rigidized finishes are the result of cold rolling on both sides – technically called face&reverseof stainless steel sheets. This high-pressure mechanical processing imprints the texture in relief on the surface. Bertazzoni has presented this concept in the “Spaghetti” and “Punti” textures.

Besides, the company also enriched its built-in ovens of the Heritage Series with the new Gold finish. Inspired by the centuries-old craftsmanship of Italian goldsmiths, the finish features genuine gold plating with a special, highly reflective treatment that protects against the wear of daily use.
