This week, the kitchen takes center stage in Milan, where Appliance brands are showcasing their latest innovations. Specifically, at EuroCucina/FTK, companies are presenting solutions featuring sophisticated designs (this year, matt finishes dominate) and technologies that simplify household tasks (from artificial intelligence to automatic programs). Let’s see what’s new.
Evoque and Enova: volumes that emerge with elegance
At the 2026 edition of EuroCucina/FTK, Fulgor Milano proposes a series of products designed for sophisticated and demanding consumers seeking professional solutions that combine high performance with distinctive design. In particular, Evoque represents the company’s most significant new offering for the American market. It is an elegant and sturdy cooker, realized to last over time: it combines quality materials with artisanal craftsmanship. Evoque draws inspiration from styles of the past, reinterpreted through a modern language that blends classic lines with the precision of today’s technology.
Technically, the product stands out for its high-level performance. “Every detail – explains the company – is designed to offer control, power, and reliability, transforming every recipe into a natural and precise gesture”. Evoque is realized in different versions and sizes to adapt to various lifestyles and spaces.
As regards to the new hobs, Fulgor Milano offers the Enova range. “The surfaces – the company states – are no longer simply flat elements, but volumes that emerge with elegance, details that capture the light, and metallic finishes that express the artisanal care and authenticity of Made in Italy. Every element is designed to give depth and value to daily gesture, making the kitchen a space where aesthetics and function come together naturally”. Enova becomes a true piece of furniture thanks to the ability to customize certain finishes, allowing each hob to adapt to the style of those who choose it. This aesthetic is combined with advanced technology, designed to offer precision, power, and an intuitive user experience.
Finally, other products on display include the Sofia cookers (Professional line), the barbecue range (which has expanded and now includes three sizes: 1000, 800, and 600 mm), the range tops, and the Urbantech Touch ovens.
The Mimesis design concept
Falmec has focused its exhibition space on the Mimesis design concept. It expresses the brand’s vision for the future of the kitchen. “With Mimesis – explains Falmec – we explore a new design language in which air – metaphorically represented by circular molecules – is extracted by solutions that blend seamlessly into the kitchen environment rather than imposing themselves on it. A hidden ‘lung’, a silent presence that breathes in harmony with the domestic space and merges into the worktops, the ceiling, and even suspension lamps, removing the boundary between the visible and the invisible”.
While advanced technology and design take center stage, materials also play a fundamental role: surfaces, indeed, reflect contemporary trends in interior design, not only from a purely aesthetic perspective, but also with regard to functionality and utility. Falmec presents its products with ultra-matt Glass. “It seamlessly blends high-end aesthetics with everyday resilience – says the company –, featuring a superior matt surface that faithfully captures the tone and texture of premium materials. Designed to complement contemporary kitchens, it offers curated color palettes and the flexibility for bespoke graphic designs, allowing for truly personalized solutions. The surface is engineered for high durability and scratch resistance, providing a long-lasting, low-maintenance finish”.
Finally the company proposes its appliances with No-Drop System that catches and eliminates condensation, the products equipped with Dialogue System to connect hood and hob, and the hoods with E.ion System that sanitise the air. Other Falmec products are equipped with technologies for high acoustic comfort.
From AI-powered ovens to vacuum robot which integrates into the kitchen
BSH is participating in EuroCucina/FTK with a complete offering of kitchen appliance. Bosch is presenting its hobs with matt surfaces, which minimize visible scratches, as well as its ventilation systems that combine strong extraction with a low noise level. Besides, the brand proposes cooling solutions with extreme strong hinges, capable of supporting doors up to 70 kg. These products offer high capacity and extended freshness.
Another highlight are the Bosch dishwashers with Zeolith technology, which ensure effective drying, especially for plastics. Finally, a further innovation is the built-in vacuum and mopping robot which invisibly integrates into the kitchen.
As regards to Siemens, the brand proposes dishwashers with smartStart as well as the iQ700 oven that detects up to 100 dishes thanks to AI. A dedicated exhibition at the booth showcases 100 years of oven innovation: from the first electric tubular oven to today’s intelligent ovens featuring AI-supported food recognition and integrated cameras.
Design is another key focus for Siemens, as demonstrated by the new Matt Edition range showcased through live demonstrations and culinary activations. Besides, Siemens announced its collaboration with the Pantone Color Institute (PCI). Together, they are introducing a new interpretation of the brand’s distinctive turquoise-green colour: the shade “Vibrant Petrol”.
Finally, at the Neff booth steam is protagonist. The brand proposes its new ovens and cooktops with Black Matt finishes, alongside the brand-new steam drawer. Then, a place of honour in the booth is reserved for the oven column dedicated to Slide&Hide, the iconic innovation that has defined Neff’s identity for 25 years.
Products that “accompany”
Various product innovations characterize Miele’s booth. Among these, the KM 8000 induction hobs with M Sense cookware, the new steam drawer and CulinaryCoach, a new AI-powered assistant within the Miele app. The assistant provides tailored recommendations, answers preparation-related questions and transfers the appropriate settings directly to connected appliances. In this way, CulinaryCoach considers preferences, experience levels and routines, and guides users in real time.
Miele’s experience at EuroCucina/FTK also shows how ventilation becomes part of the architectural concept. The latest 2in1 hob with integrated extraction is now also available in a compact 60 cm format, including a matte black finish. Besides, a new glass panel hood integrates almost invisibly into cabinetry, appearing only when needed while protecting surrounding furniture from cooking vapours. Together, these solutions combine efficient extraction with greater freedom in kitchen design.
Another proposal is Outdoor Cooking, a modular outdoor kitchen. At its core is a modular system that adapts to different spaces, needs and lifestyles. Modules and accessories can be combined, rearranged and expanded over time, allowing the kitchen to evolve alongside its users. Finally, further product highlights include HydroClean, which introduces a new approach to oven cleaning, the new colour Pearl Beige, energy-efficient dishwashers, and solutions for both small and large refrigeration needs.
New Aura collection
The centerpiece of Glem Gas exhibition is the new Aura collection, which includes different types of appliances. The freestanding cookers present clean, rigorous volumes. At the center lies the “H” design. Two side elements in stainless steel are joined by a mirrored handle, an essential line that becomes a stylistic and architectural signature. The handle does not protrude; it is integrated into the aesthetic design of the cooker. Besides, a black crystal control panel, placed on the dashboard, is activated by a touch, opening access to cooking functions.
As regards to the built-in ovens, the absence of knobs and superfluous elements enhances the cleanliness of the lines. The black surface is interrupted only by the distinctive sign of the handle. The hoods, instead, are available in two versions. The model with a T-shape extends lightly above the hob, while the version with an inclined form opens to welcome air, combining functional rigor with aesthetics.
Finally, the Aura collection includes built-in-cooktops. A metal frame defines the perimeter and encloses the cooking surface.
“The project – comments designer Marcello Cutino – originates from the freestanding cooker, a signature product of the Glem Gas brand, and transforms what is often perceived as an element belonging to rustic or highly professional contexts, repositioning it within a contemporary environment—an ‘altar’ of a new idea of kitchen. Aura interprets cooking as an experience that goes beyond pure functionality. It is a vision that transforms the act of cooking into a daily ritual, where technique and emotion merge in a perfect balance. An almost mystical approach, in which matter becomes a tool and space becomes a place of transformation. The cooker presents itself as a contemporary altar, where the alchemy of ingredients and the pleasure of creation are celebrated”.
Refined aesthetics and intelligent design
At EuroCucina/FTK 2026, Beko showcases its multi-brand portfolio. At the heart of the Whirlpool experience is a vision of the built-in kitchen as a space where refined aesthetics and intelligent design are inseparable: premium appliances that integrate seamlessly into the architecture of the home, forming a smart, connected environment powered by 6TH SENSE intelligence. On display is the WCollection oven. With a 73L cavity and Cook4 technology, up to four dishes can be cooked simultaneously without flavour or aroma transfer. Besides, the Pizza Party function allows up to four fresh pizzas to be cooked at the same time in just 15 minutes, delivering consistent top and bottom browning on every level. In refrigeration, AI AdaptiveCool uses AI-based learning algorithms to analyze user habits and environmental conditions, maintaining ideal temperatures for food preservation.
As regards to Beko brand, the HomeWhiz Energy & Water Management is on display. It gives users real-time visibility of exactly how much energy and water their appliances are using, per program, per day, over time. A concrete example is the dishwasher with PowerIntense technology, where HomeWhiz can monitor energy and water consumption for each cycle.
Finally, Hotpoint Ariston presents Caring Solutions. In refrigeration, for example, VitalCare technology uses three selected light tones to preserve antioxidants in fruits and vegetables for up to seven days, while FreshShield maintains optimal humidity to keep ingredients fresh for up to four times longer. In cooking, on the other hand, VitaCare Steam helps preserve vitamins A and C while keeping the juiciness locked inside.
New proprietary ID Technology
Elica showcases its first collection of induction hobs featuring proprietary technology. The company has developed its own hardware and software architecture, which forms the core of the product: the proprietary ID Technology is the result of a €2 million research project, for which Elica employed a task force of six engineers. The induction hobs with ID Technology will be equipped with the new Matrix user interface. It ensures dynamic aesthetics, capable of rendering infographics, animations, and text-based messages.
Besides, among the products on display at the booth is Lhov, now available in two new finishes: matt white and matt black. It’s even smarter thanks to the Vocal Assistant and new automatic cooking programmes.
Further products are the Luna pendant lamp (which interacts with the Elica hob thanks to Gesture Control) and the appliances with matt black finish (ovens, induction hobs, extractor hobs and extraction systems). In addition, NikolaTesla line continues to evolve with the launch of the ultra-slim SUIT S platform, while another innovation is TheKub, an extraction system. It is a 32 cm cube with integrated full LED lighting that offers up to ten different configurations.
Technological and commercial complementarity
The technological and commercial complementarity of LG and Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) brands is the distinctive hallmark of the Group’s built-in offering: on the one hand, LG home appliances, characterized by ease of use and smart functions; on the other, the SKS range, distinguished by sophisticated design and cutting-edge technology.
After the debut two years ago, LG and SKS confirm their participation in EuroCucina/FTK. The SKS booth, in particular, hosts technological innovations dedicated to the overseas market, while the LG booth also features some of the products soon to be introduced in Italy, including the new 75 cm built-in refrigerator collection, the new oven range (which includes compact ovens with warming drawers and ovens with integrated cameras) and the new induction hob lineup.
The new Fit & Max 75 cm built-in refrigerators with Artificial Intelligence present, for example, the Fresh Balancer drawer for storing fruit and vegetables and the Fresh Converter drawer with temperature control across three levels. On the other hand, one of innovations of the LG InstaView built-in oven range is Inverter ProBake, an advanced counter-rotating airflow system that ensures even cooking and professional results on every oven rack.
