A recent survey by the Ihs agency affirms that Amoled screens (organic light emitting diodes of active matrix), by now scarcely diffused owing to their high price, will increasingly diffuse in the next years. Currently only the LG Displays Group manufactures them and in the course of the current year it expects to produce 50,000 units of them. But already in 2015 other two brands, that’s to say Samsung and Panasonic, will start their production, reaching a total of about 700,000 pieces. In 2016 they will arrive at 2 millions and already 5 million units are foreseen for 2017, while in 2018 they are likely to reach 10 millions.
