And then, off to the young: it ended the 19th edition of Targa Rodolfo Bonetto, established in 1991 by Marco Bonetto in memory of his father, one of the great masters of Italian design. In this edition, the first in which the prize has become an autonomous form, the theme of the competition was the “creation of an innovative concept design that expresses the author’s personal satisfaction, surprise users for its particular use without limitation in respect of the design language. “theme could be declined in several categories: travel, live, work, leisure, music, and was addressed to all students of Italian design and foreigners. The award ceremony was held on June, 18 in Milan and the winners were Andrew Duran Jorge Gonzalez of the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana Mexico, Angelica Pallamin Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, Bruno Bilali, always of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. Honorable Mentions were given to Ely Pacchierotti the ISIA in Florence and Mark Bergo Academy of Fine Arts of Brera.
The award jury, chaired by Marco Bonetto, was composed by Decio Carugati, Angelo Cortesi, Luca Scacchetti, Stefan Sielaff, Tommaso Spadolini and Danilo Premoli.
