The fiscal year of Mitsubishi Group, unlike those of most companies, goes from the beginning of April of each year to the end of the successive March. At the end of October 2014, the Group released its figures concerning the March-September semester of the current year. The global turnover amounted to about 37 billion dollars, with the 4% growth versus the corresponding period of 2013. The net profit was instead equal to 2.4 billion dollars, with the 17% rise versus the previous year. Only the household appliance sector brought instead to the Group, still in the considered 2014 semester, a turnover of 4.2 billion dollars with the 4% increment versus the previous year.
