The course that promises to lead to the smart home in short times is going on: the technological giant Bosch, the electrotechnical Group Abb and the computer and telecommunication network company Cisco have established a joint venture, which will start operating in 2015, to create a platform of data sharing among household appliances. The idea is to connect washing machine, dishwasher, lamps and other devices to implement a remote management through smartphone or tablet and the agreement in principle was signed last 27th November. The new reality, which is expected to start operating at the beginning of next year and that still needs the go-ahead by the competition authorities, will be headquartered in Germany.
