“Materials Matter: materials of the future” is the space that Materioteca will operate within 20 to 22 April 2017 in Technology Hub, in fieramilanocity. The collection of materials that is going to be presented will have as theme the light and the many ways in which science can play with it. Will be offered transparent materials, translucent, colored, that serve different functional solutions: structural, communicative or even purely artistic. It will be given a new range of structural panels made of polycarbonate, acrylic or polyester (depending on the required functions) and the panels PETG or methacrylate of an American company that has developed his own technology both for the realization of embedded by well-kept graphic, both for the semi-finished color management in the plate by the use of overlapping thin films. Also exhibited will be innovative Italian acrylic panels produced with the inclusion of new types of fabrics. From the world of nanotechnologies and start up will be proposed luminescent inks, plates added with chromophore nanoparticles and nanotechnology masterbatch, to achieve effects of light and color. For all product families will be representative realizations of applications in key target sectors, to represent the best ideas and proposals to serve as starting points for new applications, uses and projects. For the entire duration of the event the Materioteca experts will be available for visitors, to illustrate in detail the materials and technologies presented.
