Beko supports the “Only One: One Planet, One Ocean, One Health” awareness campaign, launched by the environmentalist association Marevivo, together with the Navy, and created under the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and the Ministry for Civil Protection and Sea Policies. The campaign, which aims to raise awareness and educate on the theme of the ecological transition, is characterized by an itinerant thematic exhibition, on board the Palinuro school ship, which will reach the main Mediterranean ports. The culmination of the initiative will be the stop on 2 October at the Port of Venice with the institutional conference promoted by Beko, to shed light on the microfiber pollution emergency. Sustainability is confirmed as a priority for Beko which proposes FiberCatcher®, the filtering system integrated in the latest generation washing machines, capable of collecting and retaining over 90% of the microfibres released by synthetic garments during washing.
