Zoppas Industries, operating in the heating element technologies, offered its know-how also for a mission on the Moon, highlighting the high technological level of the company which serves various sectors, including that of household appliances. “The Chandrayaan-3 (CH-3) mission – the company explains on its website – represents a technological challenge undertaken by India, led by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Its objective is to develop a probe capable of reaching the Moon, executing a soft landing, conducting lunar surface exploration, and collecting valuable scientific data”. The flexible heaters developed by Zoppas Industries in the Vittorio Veneto facility (Italy) are integrated into various subsystems of the spacecraft, including the propulsion system, structure, batteries, payloads, and robotic components.
