According to the surveys by the trade association FEI, in the first 2017-semester in Switzerland 748,000 big white goods were sold against 754,000 in the first 2016-semester, with the -0.8% downturn. The trend was better for small appliances, whose sales in the 6 months of 2017 amounted to 2,422,000 units against 2,413,000 in the corresponding 2016-period, with the 0.4% growth. Therefore, thanks to the latter, in the semester total the 0.1% rise occurred.
